I am Corazon B. Canete, MD a physician by profession. I used to teach at the Cebu Doctors' University, College of Rehabilitative Sciences, and at Cebu Velez College of Nursing. I am also a lecturer of different institutions. As a Consultant of Albert Schweitzer Familien Werk in the Philippines, I give seminars and workshops to different organizations. As a consultant of Options Inc. we create programs for marginalized children and children in conflict with the law.  I give lectures, seminars and workshops on Parenting, Team Building, Leadership to different schools and organizations.I have my office at Gullas Medical Center in Banilad and in Healthworks Medical Clinic, Gaisano Fiesta Mall, Tabunok, Talisay City, Cebu. I work with my husband who is a Psychiatrist at Cebu Doctors Hospital at his Counseling and Care Center.

I began my work as a health advocate ever since i worked for government in an urban poor, depressed barangay in the City of Cebu. I have realized that health can be achieved by all if we are vigilant enough and are good stewards of the body that our creator has given us. It does not even cost a cent. There is a need to educate everyone about his own body and understand the basic functions and how to maintain its health.

Many patients do not understand what is going on in their bodies and how to keep themselves healthy. Many of us medical practitioners rely too much on  drugs to relieve our patients of the symptoms that they have when they seek consult . Sad to note that many doctors do not have the time to educate their patients about their illness and how to help prevent such illness if it is preventable.
